Further Information

A classic, 3-hour Budapest bus tour with live guide, starting from the Hotel InterContinental in Budapest on the Danube Promenade, with 3 stops.

At the beginning of the tour, we cross the Margaret Bridge, which connects Pest and Buda with the Margaret Island. Our first stop is the historical Castle District in Buda, where we take a walk to the Matthias Church and the Fishermen’s Bastion through the ancient cobblestone streets.

The next stop with a short walk is the Citadel on the Gellért Hill, where the best panoramic view of Budapest can be seen. The Liberation Monument on top of the hill can be seen from most places in Budapest.

After the walk, you will go back to the Pest side on the Elizabeth Bridge to Heroes’ Square where you will have another opportunity to take a walk with the guide and take pictures. After this, we drive back to the departure point on Andrássy Avenue, which is a World Heritage site. On the way you will able to see the Opera House and Budapest’s biggest church, the St Stephen’s Basilica.
